Homer Glen Foundation...
Connecting Our Community

About Us

Established in 2004 by local residents, the Homer Glen Foundation is a not-for-profit community organization with a purpose of ensuring that  people of all ages and abilities have access to recreational  amenities and the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors.

The vision of the Homer Glen Foundation is creating a community where children can play at neighborhood parks, students can ride their bikes to school, and the daily commute  provides scenic vistas. The Homer Glen Foundation strives to Connect Our Community through parks, trails, and open spaces so residents can experience healthy, happy lives.

Originally chartered as the Homer Glen Community & Nature Center, we have adopted the business name of Homer Glen Foundation to better describe the broad scope of charitable efforts supported by the organization. Establishing a local nature center is a long-term goal of the Foundation.  The Homer Glen Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are registered with the IRS, the Illinois Secretary of State, and the Illinois Attorney General.
